Sharni has had a passion for the hair and beauty industry from a young age. As a former dancer and cheerleader, she spent much of her time experimenting with different hairstyles and makeup for competitions.

Throughout her time at The Terrace, Sharni has attended numerous workshops and seminars that have helped her refine her techniques, bringing her to where she is today. She enjoys creating a variety of colours and styles, with her absolute favourites being a big, bouncy blow-dry or a classic bob.

For Sharni, hairdressing is incredibly rewarding because it allows her to make people feel great about themselves. The trust clients place in her when they decide to make a dramatic change whether it’s chopping all their hair off or completely altering the colour is something she deeply values. There’s nothing more fulfilling than seeing a client leave the salon with a huge smile on their face, knowing she helped make it happen.

In addition to her work as a stylist, Sharni is a mentor to the emerging stylists at The Terrace, regularly leading them in training sessions and sharing her knowledge and passion for the craft.

When she’s not working, Sharni spends time with her fiancé Sam, their son Grayson, and their two cats! She’s proudly a self-proclaimed "crazy cat lady."

Sharni is also passionate about shopping and staying up to date with the latest fashion trends, though she admits her savings account might not always agree with her love for style!
